John joined the firm in 1994 and previously served as partner-in-charge for the Lumberton Office.  John has provided over 35 years of service in public accounting, private industry, banking, and higher education.  He has served on the faculty of the University of North Carolina at Pembroke for more than twenty years teaching two accounting courses.

John and his wife, Dr. Mary Ann Masters, have two sons, Harrison and Ross, who are both currently enrolled at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  John enjoys numerous sporting activities, especially hunting, and is active in his church and community.
