He attended NC Wesleyan College in the early 70's and further obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1976. She obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. As well as providing 28 years of actual accounting experience, Debbie was a recipient of a 1991 AICPA Certifcate of Educational Achievement in Governmental Accounting and Auditing. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants. She is a sustainer member of the Lumberton Junior Service League who enjoys reading and golf. Debbie is an active member of the First Baptist Church in Lumberton where she serves in multiple areas of administration, music, and youth. Having teenage children of her own, she contributes time in supporting the local high school marching band and Band Fans. She is a graduate of Meredith College where she obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting. During her career with our firm, she has developed specialized knowledge in governmental and non-profit audits, and individual, estate and trust taxation. He attended the University of Tennessee and the University of Memphis (formerly Memphis State University) obtaining both a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance and a Masters Degree in Accounting. He continues to hold a CPA certificate in the state of Tennessee. John has provided 31 years of service in public accounting, private industry, banking, and higher education. He is currently on the faculty of the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. He enjoys numerous sporting activities, especially hunting. John is active in his church and community. He is the former treasurer of the Lumberton Area Chamber of Commerce and a member of the First Presbyterian Church. He joined the firm in 1991 and worked in the Lumberton office until 1997, at which time he transferred to the Elizabethtown office. After graduating from Campbell College in 1974 with a bachelors degree in mathematics, Phil worked in private industry for 16 years in the accounting and computer fields. Phil especially enjoys helping clients with their computerized accounting needs.
